The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) delivered 3.6 million metric tons of food in 2023 alone. Yet, uncertainties and supply chain complexities persist. Enter Global Upstream Planning (GUP), an optimization tool developed by WFP's Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Unit and further enhanced through the WFP Innovation Accelerator Sprint Programme.
This video was produced for the WFP Innovation Accelerator's Annual Pitch Event in 2024. It was screened in front of our audience of 200+ attendees including Executive Director, Cindy McCain.
I was in charge of scripting, conducting and recording interviews, sourcing stock footage from the WFP Multimedia Hub, recording voiceover and editing the video. It is also important to note we do not have video production equipment at the WFP Innovation Accelerator, and this was filmed on my personal Sony A6000.
